Our client is a global sports media business, attracting millions of users and offering them real time sports updates, and most recently, live streaming services. They are offering the chance to work at the centre of the sports industry, helping to expand the already successful, privately-owned business, bring audiences closer than ever to their favourite sports and build the foundations for a bright and rewarding future.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join the business as a group head of agency sales. They will be providing the framework for the Agency Sales strategy and will build a team to distribute it across the marketplace, particularly around the companies VOD and Live Streaming content. It will allow the successful candidate to utilise their innovative thinking, management skills and proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Set and deliver the Global Agency Sales strategy for the company, combining all assets of traditional display, premium formats, content, VOD & OTT live Streaming for the Agency market
- Contribute directly to revenue objectives and ensure targets are met
- Demonstrate existing, develop new and maintain strong agency relationships at key levels across multiple groups and their relevant individual departments.
- Work with broader internal commercial operations to develop proactive sales collateral and responses to briefs which positively integrate and reflect the values of the company and utilise our full media ecosystem.
- Identify and understand industry trends to help generate new opportunities and further product/service developments
- Work collaboratively with programmatic trading and ad technology teams
- Integrate approach with the content and social teams on new sales opps
- Experience in successfully developing and managing a sales team with a strong social, broadcast or digital focus.
- Strong existing relationships with Agency trading, partnership and planning teams as well as relevant senior management figures.
- Strong track record of forecasting, delivering new business, hitting revenue targets, and reporting to senior management
- Excellent understanding of online advertising and technology ecosystem especially VOD, OTT, content & programmatic
