Description
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager, selling high value products and audiences to advertisers via programmatic channels.  With a market leading proposition, deep agency relationships and the latest ad technologies, this role is set up for a driven, switched on AM.  
 
You will feel confident pitching, presenting and responding to briefs, all with a consultative approach.  Technical understand is certainly a plus but more important is a willingness and ability to learn.
 
You will report to the Head of Programmatic, work closely with the immediate team, the Direct and Ad Ops teams and spend the majority of your time finding opportunities to maximise revenues across the network.
  
You will already have a demonstrable track record in programmatic sales as well as an ability to build new relationships.  You will understanding the different ways in which the modern planner/buyer wants to interact
 
One year’s minimum experience of selling and managing agency programmatic relationships and campaigns are essential.  
 
Key Responsibilities  
 
  • Propose, pitch and close business for existing clients, manage pipelines, maintain knowledge of market activity
  •  
  • Build strong relationships with agency trading teams at relevant levels through regular communication, meetings and entertainment as appropriate
 
  • Establish new business through structured pitches and pipeline management to dormant clients within agency/buyer portfolio
 
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of designated agencies and clients, their strategies and approaches 
 
  • Work closely with Programmatic Ops team to ensure the full delivery and optimisation of campaigns
 
  • Analyse data and accumulate insights on campaign performance and market intelligence

  • Be aware of relevant developments in the digital industry 
  •  
 
 
Key Requirements
 
  • 1 year + agency programmatic sales experience; ideally with a publisher, ad network, ad tech or agency.
 
  • Strong contacts within programmatic digital buyers across the major agency groups
 
  • Excellent, proven ability to sell programmatic solutions
 
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
 
  • An understanding of programmatic campaign optimisation
 
  • An understanding of how programmatic trading works – trading, analytics, site specific sales, networks, research, technical terms, etc.
 
  • Professional, diligent, proactive and a good team player.
 
  • Enthusiasm for working in the media industry and an aspiration to grow and develop in digital sales.
 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of developments across the media industry.
