Strategic Sales Account Director – Demand Generation
Location: UK or Europe (flexible / hybrid)We’re working with a global media and technology business that partners with some of the world’s most ambitious brands to drive measurable demand, pipeline growth and commercial outcomes.
They’re looking to hire a Strategic Sales Account Director to take ownership of a portfolio of high‑value clients and prospects, acting as a senior commercial lead across complex, multi‑stakeholder organisations. This role is focused on selling sophisticated demand generation solutions rather than pure media inventory, and would suit someone who is comfortable operating as a trusted advisor at senior decision‑maker level.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing account strategies that unlock long‑term revenue, expanding existing partnerships while also identifying new growth opportunities within large, established accounts. You’ll work closely with internal product, delivery and leadership teams to ensure solutions are genuinely aligned to client objectives and performance outcomes.
The right person will have a strong background in selling demand generation or performance‑led marketing solutions, ideally within a B2B environment. You’ll be confident navigating longer sales cycles, multiple buying personas and commercially complex deals, and will enjoy working closely with clients to shape strategy rather than simply respond to briefs.
This is a senior, visible position within the business and requires someone who is comfortable owning relationships, influencing internally and externally, and operating with a high degree of autonomy.
You’ll likely bring:
Significant experience selling Demand Gen, performance marketing or data‑driven media solutions
A proven track record of growing large, strategic accounts over time
Experience working with senior stakeholders and complex buying groups
Strong commercial instincts and the ability to structure and close high‑value deals
