- Description
Programmatic Account Manager
Digital OOH | London | Hybrid
We’re working with a growing Digital Out of Home media business looking to hire a Programmatic Account Manager as they continue to develop their programmatic offering.
This is a genuinely varied role sitting between programmatic delivery, account management and commercial growth.
You’ll work closely with agencies, trading desks, DSPs and other demand partners, managing the day-to-day delivery of programmatic activity while building the relationships behind it.
The role
- Manage day-to-day relationships across agencies, trading desks and programmatic buying teams.
- Set up and manage PMPs, Preferred Deals and Programmatic Guaranteed activity.
- Monitor campaign delivery and performance, troubleshoot issues and help maximise results.
- Work closely with SSPs, DSPs and other programmatic partners.
- Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities to grow spend.
- Provide campaign updates, performance insights and recommendations.
- Support the continued growth of the company's programmatic offering.
What we're looking for
- 2-5 years' experience within programmatic advertising.
- Experience from a media owner, SSP, DSP, exchange, AdTech business or similar environment.
- Good understanding of SSPs, DSPs, PMPs and programmatic deal mechanics.
- Comfortable getting involved in the actual delivery and optimisation of campaigns.
- Strong client and relationship-management skills.
- Commercially minded without necessarily being a pure salesperson.
- Someone who wants broader responsibility within a growing business.
The opportunity
This isn't a traditional sales role and it isn't purely programmatic operations.
The interesting bit is the combination of the two. You'll remain close to campaign delivery and the platforms while gradually taking greater ownership of agency and trading relationships, revenue opportunities and the growth of the programmatic side of the business.
A good move for someone who enjoys the technical side of programmatic but wants to become more commercial and client-facing without moving away from the delivery piece altogether.
