- Highly Ranked in the Sunday Times Top 100 and Wired magazines’ Hottest Start Ups in Europe after their launch, my client is a leading Intent Targeting AdTech business with their own proprietary technology that, after 6 years of building a strong and loyal client base, is now ready for the next stage of growth including the launch of a ground breaking new product.
Their platform really does cater to the full marketing funnel, allowing their clients to fulfil the ultimate outcomes they need to achieve. At the end of the day, it’s about their ability to identify and understand the audience with intent and hitting them in the right way at the right time.
It’s the people behind the tech that are really key in driving this business forward and the budget is in place for a further 2 people to join their sales team in London, helping to evangelize their existing (award winning) technology plus the new platform to Agencies and Clients Direct.
The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge and be passionate about the ever evolving digital / programmatic ecosystem and a strong track record of building strong relationships with agencies and / or clients direct.
An intelligent and consultative approach is required, having full-funnel conversations and a meticulous approach to presenting integrated proposals and, of course, closing the deals.
Key responsibilities:- Identify and acquire sales opportunities
- Maximize revenue growth with advertising agencies/ clients direct, ensuring a broad and regular market coverage
- Prospect, evaluate and identify important business opportunities
- Sales presentations to large groups with varying degrees of seniority
- Develop winning selling strategies and proposals, adjusting sales tactics depending on needs
- Together with the wider team plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients
- Develop and implement tactical sales initiatives in coordination with the marketing team
- Work closely with account management to provide superior performance and customer service, and grow repeat business
- Contribute to a culture focused on performance, positive thinking and active collaboration with the rest of the company
Experience required- Minimum 3 years progressive experience in digital ad sales
- Demonstrated capability to deliver revenue over and above target
- In-depth knowledge and contacts with UK media agencies/ clients direct
- Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
- Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting and campaign optimization
- Acquired knowledge of the mobile ad tech ecosystem
