Job Role: Media Buyer
About the Company:
Our client is a digital-first agency that creates passionate communities for live experience-based clients like Wicked, Lion King, and Frozen. They are now looking for a Media Buyer to work with our Media Planners and Project Managers to initiate, optimize, and finish online media campaigns.
What You’ll Do
This role will co-report to the UK Head of Account Management and Director of Media Buying (NYC) and will be responsible for all media buying for our UK Live Entertainment and Theatrical Clients. The selected candidate will have a solid understanding of media buying including budget management, planning, and pacing, as well as experience working with creative and social media teams to deliver amazing digital content. Our office is located in Holborn, and we are currently working in-office three days per week.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Working collaboratively with all internal teams to successfully deliver digital media campaigns – teams may include Planning, Search and Social, Programmatic, Data, and Creative
• Monitor budgets, and pacing and ensure deadlines are met
• Set up and QA digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Google Ads, Display & Video 360, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
• Work with vendor support teams on tracking tag implementation and issue troubleshooting/inquiry.
• Optimize campaigns to meet and surpass campaign KPI benchmarks and internal benchmarks.
• Oversee the accurate reporting of campaigns through Microsoft Excel and other data visualization tools and generate actionable insights based on data trends and knowledge of the market
• Keep on top of industry trends and make recommendations for client testing within buying channels e.g., new ad networks, creative formats, buy models, etc
What are we looking for?
• A minimum of 3 years of digital media experience, agency, and digital media preferred
• Understanding of campaign tagging, Q/A, and technical troubleshooting
• Knowledge and utilization of 1st and/or 3rd party data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs/Sheets
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions
• Fluency in working with industry tools (Facebook Ads Manager, Facebook Business Manager, YouTube, Google Search, Google Display Network, Google Analytics)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills
