The Role
The Advertising Audience Development Lead will be responsible for the companies digital advertising audience development and strategy. The successful candidate would be reporting into the VP, and will work closely with relevant stakeholders across the business. The candidate must have a strong can-do attitude, be pro-active and have a penchant to analyse, develop and build data led audiences.
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience working withing a Digital Media / Ad Tech environment, with digital analytics at the forefront.
- An advanced understanding and skillset working with a DMP (ideally Adobe Audience Manager) to monetise audiences.
- Strong knowledge of the 3rd party data marketplace, with the ability to develop data strategy to reduce reliance on 3rd party data.
- Strong understanding of 1st party data, defining collection points and mapping out customer journeys to lead 1st party data collection projects.
- A thorough understanding of the digital media ecosystem, inclusive of, but not limited to, the programmatic marketplace, data led audience segmentation and audience extension.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced working environment, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Digital team to ensure that the sales teams have a thorough understanding of all audience data products, available to sell to the market.
- Acknowledge and fulfil agreed business KPIs, set at the beginning of the year by VP, Digital Strategy & Revenue Development (direct report).
- Lead the utilisation and development of our DMP to model and scale audiences for commercial use.
- Attend regular workshops with Adobe’s technical team to troubleshoot solutions to maximise data sources.
- Collaborate with Research & Insight, Product & Development, Editorial and Digital to contribute towards building a continuously competitive future data strategy.
- Opportunity to lead the commercial use of Euronews’ future CMP technology, planned for implementation in 2022 and leverage associated data opportunities.
- Responsible for the segmentation development, management and commercialisation of Euronews’ Audiences.
- Use of data modelling on 1st party data points to enhance their scale and build sales collateral on top of that in anticipation of response to briefs
