- The Business:
The business is an industry leading global CTV/tech business working with ground-breaking technologies on a worldwide platform with a motive to generate superior services and products to society. They have plans to increasingly develop services within their European territories and are looking for a Content Manager in Data and Insights to help take on this big challenge.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be working alongside the companies expanding team and will be making informed and data-driven decisions on behalf of their exciting and fast-growing service, working to make the viewing experience the best standard possible. The role will involve working to increase visitors level of engagement and abiding by the companies critical product strategy to convert casual viewers to active viewers or active viewers to engaged viewers.
Responsibilities- Create regular performance reporting on content engagement and revenue generation to key partners using a range of BI and presentation tools, including teams across business development, Product Management, Ads and HQ
- Manage a range of analytics requests and be proactive in finding relevant insights to present to partners
- Identify and prototype new data processing projects to gain new insights into content consumption
- Develop their capacity to predict performance and revenue generation behaviour
- Support the expansion of the content by providing performance and revenue analysis to be shared with partners for their owned content and for the service overall.
- Manage return on investment tracking for specific owned content projects across Europe
Requirements- Previous experience of working in a data and insights capacity for a public-facing media product
- Knowledge of how data can be used across a business to inform decision-making and drive value
- Demonstrable experience in deriving insights and value from data to improve viewer engagement, revenue growth and viewer retention
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and good working knowledge of visualisation tools such as Data Studio, Domo, Tableau or Quicksight
- A good understanding of metadata and how it can be used to support insights
- Experience of taking ideas from concept to finished product whilst retaining creativity and singularity of purpose
- Effective planning and organisational skills. The ability to manage several initiatives at once and prioritising tasks effectively, and reacting to late requests and fast-changing events
